-Every Perma-Column is made of 10,000 p.s.i. pre-cast concrete. This is not the standard 3,000-4,000 p.s.i. concrete typically found in foundations. Strength is not the only benefit found in this special mix. Microfibers add shock resistance and durability. Microsilicia enhances flexural/compressive strength and erosion resistance. A corrosion inhibitor protects the rebar reinforcement from rusting, and a final admixture is added to give freeze/thaw protection. |
